Hospice Services

About Amicasa Hospice

AMICASA Hospice is a Georgia-based organization that specializes in providing end of life care and support to patients and their families.  The focus at AMICASA is on the patient's quality of life.  Our services are about providing comfort, listening, easing pain, support, and education.

When Treatment Is No Longer An Option (please also see our page for Hospice Indicators)

When Treatment can no longer cure an illness, a patient may be eligible to benefit from our Hospice Home Care Services.  When two physicians render a prognosis of less than six months, and the goal of treatment changes from curative to comfort measures, AMICASA's goal becomes one of providing gentle, comfort health care, as well as spiritual and emotional support to the patient and their family.

Who Pays for Hospice
